Focaccia.- bread machine and finish in oven.,

Ingredients

Serves: 12
225ml (8 fl oz) lukewarm water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 sprigs fresh rosemary, stem removed and chopped
400g (14 oz) bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons dried active baking yeast
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 sprigs fresh rosemary, stem removed and chopped

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 25 mins

1.Place water, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, garlic, rosemary, flour and yeast in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough cycle; press Start.

2.Remove dough from bread machine when cycle is complete. Pat dough into either a 23x33cm (9x13 in) baking pan or 30cm pizza pan. Use your fingers to dimple the dough every inch or so. Brush with remaining olive oil and sprinkle with remaining rosemary.

3.Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas mark 6. Cover foccacia with cling film while oven preheats. 4.Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
