Buttery Chili Prawns. Empty Buttery Chili Prawns.

IButtery Chili Prawns

Ingredients
25g butter
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves , finely chopped
1 red chilli , seeds left in and finely chopped
½ tsp sweet paprika
12-20 large raw king prawns with shells
juice 1 lemon , plus a few slices for a finger bowl
½ x small bunch parsley , roughly chopped
small loaf crusty bread , warmed to serve

Cooking times

Prep 15 mins

Cook 8 mins


1.Melt the butter and oil together in a frying pan. Add the garlic, chilli and paprika, then fry for 1-2 mins until starting to turn golden. Turn up the heat, throw in the prawns and fry for a few mins, stirring, until all the prawns turn pink. Take off the heat, season and stir in the lemon juice and parsley.
2. Add some lemon slices to a finger bowl of warm water, grab a bowl for the shells, then dig straight in with your fingers and hunks of crusty bread.

237 kcalories, protein 9g, carbohydrate 2g, fat 22 g, saturated fat 8g, fibre 1g, sugar 1g, salt 1.6 g

Crevettes au beurre Chili

ingrédients
25g de beurre
2 cuillères à soupe d'huile d'olive
3 gousses d'ail, hachée finement
1 piment rouge, les graines laissées dans et haché finement
½ cuillère à café de paprika doux
12-20 grandes gambas crues avec des coquilles
jus de 1 citron, plus quelques tranches pour un rince-doigts
½ x petit bouquet de persil, haché grossièrement
miche de pain croûté petite, réchauffé à servir

Les temps de cuisson

Préparation 15 minutes

Cuire 8 minutes


1.Melt le beurre et l'huile dans une poêle. Ajouter l'ail, le piment et le paprika, puis faire frire pendant 1-2 minutes jusqu'à ce qu'ils commencent à dorer. Augmenter le feu, jetez-y les crevettes et les faire frire pendant quelques minutes plus tard, en remuant, jusqu'à ce que toutes les crevettes deviennent roses. Retirer du feu, de la saison et ajouter le jus de citron et le persil.
2. Ajouter quelques tranches de citron dans un bol d'eau tiède doigt, prenez un bol pour les coquilles, puis creuser droite avec vos doigts et Hunks de pain croûté.

Later than planned, bf made this tonight. Excellent tasty dish. Used a bit less chillies but still just as good. Bf's going to swap prawns for seabass or some chunky fish. That's less kitchen time for me. Wink

I makings this and it was very tastings. I not use seeds and only usings half chili I finding it just right for me. I am not liking having fire inmouth from whole chili. Thankings for recipe.

I've got used to the heat of chillies so can take a more potent hit. Not always the fire, is the reason for thre usage, they actually add a taste too.
